Wow. Olivier Rousteing's second collection for Balmain is one of the most incredible catwalk offerings i've seen in a long time. It's basically really laid-back LA-style, just loose T-shirts tucked into low-slung jeans and a jacket, BUT in couture. And so much better than the borderline dodgy sequin mini-dresses that were getting a bit tired under Decarnin's reign.
It's exactly how i would dress, if i was a Russian oligarch/royalty/a rich person, and if it were acceptable to wear head-to-toe pearls on an everyday basis. Which it should be in my opinion.
