INDIAN INSIDE

An unforeseen side effect of this accidentally chilled out January that i seem to be doing is nesting. Dreams about buying and decorating my own house are high on the procrastination agenda and, for obvious reasons, my imagined domiciles are taking on a distinctly Indian edge at the moment. 

I can't even imagine how much random Indian clutter i'm going to heave back from my holiday. Hopefully enough to create my own asian heaven back here in snowy London (baggage allowance permitting of course).

SNOW DAY

Loving everything white and lacy and beaded and girly at the moment in some weird backlash to everything i own which is proving fairly annoying. Have come over all Isabel Marant and Matthew Williamson which is just not my usual fodder. Trying to get my clothes together for holidays and all i want is a pile of floaty white dresses. Sadly it's January and snowing like crazy in London so i'm not sure these are going to be top of the list in stores right now....

Today i took my first Jivamukti class as part of a new year's health kick. Pretty standard NY fare: taking up yoga, not drinking or smoking, starting a juice cleanse next week. I honestly had no idea i was so cliché.

DAY #4...

... of being in bed with an evil illness. Today's big activity has been making a bouncy ball from a kit made for 8-year-olds and watching 9 episodes of The O.C. Big day.

I have promised myself in a New Year's Resolution-esque capacity to make this blog a little more personal but right now, even if i had the best wardrobe on the planet, no one wants to see this pasty mug so for today i'll settle for some other peoples.
