Unbelievable. Literally had my mouth hanging open throughout the whole thing whilst my hung over cinema date slept peacefully beside me. Just the prettiest prettiest film. The light, the setting, the beaches, the woods, grinning just thinking about it...

Adore the industrial vibe to this editorial. David Shama has such an amazing simplicity. It rings of classic 60's Bailey-esque female glamour shots, those grainy shots of Jean Shrimpton and Penelope Tree, but with a totally modern, urban aesthetic.

Adore the coat. Another one for the Christmas wish list... Now, where do i find it?

It's a happy day for Lissi Loves.

This morning i woke up to find a print of the above in the post, sent to me personally by Taki himself, after he read the post i wrote in September addressing all sorts of creative love for this awesome photographer. Not only one but two prints in a big 'Par Avion' envelope from Paris... with a personal message written on the bottom of each one... A happy day indeed.

Had my last shoot for Fashion156 on Monday. Boo hoo... But was a great finish shooting this lady, Tenna Bergsdottir from Iceland. Knew i recognised her when she sashayed in with her lace and patent leggings that she wore for this shoot and McQueen fur trimmed coat - probably the most covetable item i have ever seen in real life (rather than in an out of reach editorials/on distant catwalk etc.). Here she is shot by fellow Icelander, Saga of The Neverending Story, for Platform.
