Granulated Sweetener

Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait...
Just heard about this exhibition 'Granulated Sweetener' at the Sugar Shack Gallery on the Fulham Road which i'll be hitting next weeek, and you should too... My friend Jamie Byrom, who has been doing lengthy internships at both Christie's and Sotherby's, is now intern turned curator in this group show at the Sugar Shack which is a space rented by the week and used as a creative platform to showcase emerging contemporary artists. There's going to be such an amazing mix of stuff on show, all from young artists, some of whom have only just graduated but already have their names sprouting up in national magazines... SO: fine jewellery from Daisy Knights (from whose collection i'm STILL trying to choose my graduation present... skull ring?), printed t-shirts all the way from NYC at Annabelle & Marsden, pop culture silkscreening from Trafford Parsons (my personal fave = 'space chopper': buy prints here), photographers Jamie Field and Jessie Vaughan, illustrations and jewellery design from Hanna Herrera and oils from Archie Franks. AND Look out for Polly Morgan's taxidermy pieces...
