In detail

Got a really fun day planned on Friday in LissiLoves Land, the fruits of which I should be able to bring to this here blog very soon.

The clue is in the picture... and, actually, the title of this post.

Dion Lee autumn/winter 2012

Dion Lee's autumn/winter 2012 collection was far and away one of the best of LFW this season. It bridges this gap between understated and showy that i've not seen in a long time. Particular favourites include the red shirt which is made up of layers of organza, the red peg trousers from the same look, the cutout black dress with the split at the front which is the ultimate modern LBD and the floor-length white chiffon which floated so prettily as the models walked around the presentation room yesterday, to the backdrop of the most amazing video which should be released soon. Watch this space.

I managed to squeeze Dion onto our Live Blog yesterday, so you can see my full review of the show here (about half way down).

Major new love.

Wow, i can't believe it's all over. It kind of sneaks up on you and then is finished before you know it. So before the excitement dies down here's a few phone pics of the last few days, which have been London Fashion Week autumn/winter 2012.

There's only a few as the rest of the time i was furiously Tweeting (it becomes something of an obsession this time of year - am currently nursing what feels like early-onset arthritis in my thumbs from all the phone action) but they sum up some of the drama. And i'll follow up with a few outfit posts in the next few days.

In order: Massive hairpieces at Louise Gray
The line up at my LFW favourite Dion Lee (who i'll be posting more about later)
My fashion week wingman Harriet
Temperley
The absolutely amazing, dramatic and haunting dresses at Giles (x7)
A view of the river at the Topshop venue
Glittering animals at Markus Lupfer
Psychedelic bohemia at Ashish (x3)

Wicked look book from Luv AJ featuring Wylie Hays, espcecially chuffed to see those 'Celine' skateboards that Jayne from Stop It Right Now made - they are the coolest thing i have ever seen. Dying to get my hands on one.

Been running around at London Fashion Week all day and will be bringing you little titbits of what i'm seeing in and around the shows over the next few days. Weekend kicks off tomorrow at 9am. Awesome.

Had a moment of madness today.

Am waiting for the guilt to hit, but all i can feel is pure unadulterated glee with my new Chloe Susan boots.

Am going to save up all my favourite shows and do a massive round up at the end of the month so in the mean time, here's a little bit of what's been going on outside.

Wow. Just had a massive blog surf and stumbled across Vanessa Hong's The Haute Pursuit - how have i missed this?

Awesome style. Just the right amount of girliness and grunge, with a dash of masculine tailoring thrown in. Properly amazing. Plus it's adding fuel to the fire that i need to get my hands on that H&M ombre green jumper.
